Abilio Estévez

Director, dramaturg, author / playwright

Abilio Estévez was born in Havana in 1954, where he studied Spanish language, literature, and philosophy. He then ventured into the theatre world, working with many different companies. He is the author of several plays, including the award-winning Night, a collection of poems, Manual of Temptations, and a volume of short stories, Game with Gloria, as well as the novels Thine Is the Kingdom and Distant Palaces, both published by Arcade.
