Ana Olivarez-Levinson Digital Collection
Notes: +
This is a collection of photographs that belong to Chicana cultural worker Ana Olivarez (aka Anna Olivarez). They document Ana Olivarez' experience in Cuba between 1980-1985; the East Coast-West Coast Theater Brigade; and the exchanges between Teatro de la Esperanza and Cuban theater between 1980 and 1984. Eric Mayer-García identified their importance for the Americas' theater historiography and scanned them for his research. Metadata was created by Lillian Manzor and Helen Hernández Hormilla. The physical materials remain with the artist. The digital collection was revised and published by Lillian Manzor (2017).
