Romance en charco seco
Inspired in Federico García Lorca's Amor de don Perlimplín con Belisa en su jardín, this puppet play for adults transforms Lorca's text into a tragic Cuban peasant houseparty for various kinds of puppets underscoring sexual diversity. The play presents a critical take on the objectification that results from economic needs, and on how couples' relationships unfold in a context characterized by material gain and loss of feelings.
