Intersection for the Arts
Notes:
Intersection for the Arts, founded in the early 1960s and incorporated in 1965, is San Francisco's oldest alternative art space. It has a long history of presenting new and experimental work in the fields of literature, theater, music and the visual arts and also in nurturing and supporting the Bay Area's cultural community through service, technical support and mentorship programs. Intersection's Resident Theatre Company Campo Santo cultivates writers to work in a small community-based space with actors, designers, directors, and audiences to create new theatrical experiences that reflect and reinvent our world.
