For over 30 years the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center (AHCAC) has served as a nesting ground for emerging talent in the visual and performing arts. Located in the heart of Liberty City, AHCAC provides inspiration and encouragement to the members of the community. It used to be the home of The M-Ensemble, oldest surviving African American theater group in Florida. Among other things, the center exposes Miami-Dade inner-city youth to the fundamentals of live stage performances and provides opportunities for them to learn about the business of arts and entertainment.
