Renaldo Eugenio Ferradas

Renaldo Ferradas was born in Cuba and has spent part of his life in New York City. He was a playwright and a writer of songs, music, and lyrics in English and Spanish, with more than forty songs to his credit. He received his BA from Fordham University and his MA in Performance Studies from New York University. Together with Carmen Montejo, the well known Mexican actress of Cuban origin, he established El Teatro de las Americas Unidas in New York City in 1973. He was a member of the Latin American Writers Institute, Dramatist Guild, The Authors League of America, BMI and the UFT.
