Founded in 1989 by its current artistic director, Rosario Vargas, it is the only company in the Midwest solely dedicated to the production of Spanish-language and bilingual works. It is committed to creating Spanish-language theater that “stings” or “pricks” the social consciousness of its audiences and eliminates cultural and linguistic barriers.
