José Rubia Barcia

José Rubia was a writer and filmmaker, who lived in Cuba from May 1939 to 1943, thanks to the economic support of one of his uncles. He was friend of Alejo Carpentier and Raúl Roa.
In 1943, Rubia moved to New York, where he worked as a professor at Princenton University.
